Analisis Hubungan Kompleksitas Organisasi, Keterlibatan Tim, Diversitas Ukuran Kinerja, Besar Kompensasi, Partisipasi Terhadap Kinerja Tim

Abstract


The very high involvement of employee is necessary to improve the readiness and the quality of organizational response to a complex and dynamic business environment by creating  interdepartemental and intra departemental teams. The success of such a team  in managing  the  complex environment is determined by: a comprehensive performance measurement, the reward of the team performance, the ability of the  members in making decisions and the need for basic information.
The objective  of the study is to provide  empirical evidence that: 1). The diversity of the performance measurement is influenced by the involvement of the interdepartemental  and intra departemental teams, 2). The magnitude of the compensation of the team members is influenced by the involvement of the team, the diversity of the performance measurement, the participation of the members in setting  performance target, and 3). The  team performance is influenced by the diversity of the performance measurement, the magnitude of the compensation of the team members, the participation in setting performance target.
The study involves 140 upper level and middle level managers of BUMN in Indonesia using mail survey. The result of the study show tha the improvement of the team performance is caused by indirect influence of the financial and non-financial performance measurement through the magnitude of the compensation of the team member. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the compensation of the team members in influenced by the the involvement of the interdepartemental team, the financial and non financial performance measurement. As the more variable performance measurement is moderated by the  more involved participation of the team members in setting the performance target, the magnitude of the compensation of the team members is increasingly high. The diversity of the performance measurement is influenced by the  involvement of the interdepartemental team and intra-departemental team.
